The Jeevan Aanand Sanstha was founded in 2013 and since then it has been serving the homeless and helpless persons. The main objective of the Sanstha is to help and serve the helpless and work for their rehabilitation.

This is a temporary type of shelter. A homeless patient found on the road is brought over here and bathed. If he / she has wound on the body, we dress them too. Such patient is taken to a nearby hospital if necessary. If the police find such patients, they bring them to the shelter These patients are kept here for some days and given the medical treatment. In the meanwhile attempts are being made to search for if their families patient is unable to go home, the work of his rehabilitation is done on the permanent basis. The needy are given grains and clothes. JAS celebrates birthdays of inmates, staff members and well-wishers at their shelter homes. Festivals like Diwali, Raksha Bandan, Independence Day etc are also celebrated.all inmates are involved in planning and arranging the event
