This Ashram was started in a rented house at Kinkos, Ta. Kudal,Dist Sindhudurg. The Ashram is run for the homeless and helpless old people, mentally challenged patients, and children of mentally challenged patients JAS is constantly working toward the sensitization of the public toward the importance of looking after the elderly and the homeless. Apart from providing shelter and care for these destitute; JAS works in parallel toward creating awareness via sessions in schools and colleges to make them aware of the importance of looking after the elderly; at home and otherwise.

A good association and rapport with doctors and hospitals help in immediate and cost-effective treatment for the beneficiaries social workers and care providers the approach is to rehabilitate patients, preserving and enhancing health, enhancing quality of life while attempting a reunion with patient’s lost families.
